The MultiSkin Synthetic Push fittings for multilayer pipe.
A range of Push fittings from 14 to 26 mm.
MultiSkin Push fittings can be installed in less that 7 seconds.
Immediate verification of the connection with the Visu-Control ring.
No tooling required.
MultiSkin pipe must be properly calibrated and deburred with Comap dedicated tools before fitting coupling.
The Comap push fit system for multilayer pipe combines all the qualities of plastic and metal solutions. A light and flexible tube with significant resistance to expansion (inner layer of aluminium). A high quality synthetic PPSU fitting, quick to install and secured by an insertion indicator. Synthetic Push fittings are supplied with EPDM gasket and polyamide grab ring.
Advantages
Performance
Press fit solution that connects fittings in seven seconds without tools and avoids the risks related to the welding.
Improved hydraulics with a reduction in pressure drops (7% on average compared to the former synthetic crimp range).
Safety
Visu-Control® ring, allowing visual verification of a fitting (the red indicator turns white once the pipe is connected).
Protective cap to prevent impurities from penetrating.
Applications
MultiSkin push fit connections are designed for the following applications:
Sanitary water: 5 °C to 95 °C (operating temperature) and 10 bar (maximum operating pressure).
Heating and cooling: -10 °C to 95 °C (operating temperature) and 10 bar (maximum operating pressure).
Rainwater: -10 °C to 95 °C (operating temperature) and 10 bar (maximum operating pressure).
